Meet Benjamin Obaje

In this role, I support and optimise workforce management systems within a large, multi-site organisation. My responsibilities include configuring scheduling and timekeeping modules, strengthening access controls, and ensuring data integrity across HR and payroll workflows. I designed automated scheduling logic to optimise staff allocation based on operational demand and compliance requirements, contributing to measurable labour cost reductions. I also developed structured reporting frameworks and dashboards to improve visibility for senior leadership, while producing comprehensive system documentation and training materials to support organisation-wide adoption.

I worked on improving operational efficiency across order fulfilment, warehouse operations, and internal reporting. A key focus of this role was automation, where I developed Excel VBA-based tools to streamline end-to-end workflows from order intake through delivery and project closure. These solutions reduced manual processing effort by over 60%, eliminated duplicate documentation, and improved cross-functional visibility for HR and sales teams through real-time tracking dashboards. My work directly supported operational scalability and process reliability.

At DBS Bank, I acted as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams for a custom HR operations application. I gathered and analysed business requirements, translated them into technical specifications, and supported the delivery lifecycle through stakeholder workshops and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). I also produced functional documentation, training materials, and process guides to ensure smooth adoption across HR operations teams, gaining early exposure to enterprise governance and banking environments.

My early academic background in biomedical and engineering-related studies helped shape a structured, systems-oriented approach to problem-solving. This foundation supports my current work across enterprise platforms, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
